Standard parcels are delivered by Swiss Post without a signature. Once the parcel has been delivered, neither the Post nor Decathlon take responsibility. For more information, please refer to the article "I have not received my order, what can I do? "
If the parcel is small enough, it is placed in the mailbox or storage compartment.
If no one is at home at the time of delivery (neither you, nor someone in your household), there are several options available to the postal service:
- A pick-up invitation will be left in your mailbox. The order must be collected from the post office within the specified time limits. Otherwise, the package will be returned to us. The collection delay can be extended on your online postal account.
- Your parcel will be left with your neighbour, in front of the door, at the entrance, in the stairwell, etc.
Bulky packages are delivered by Swiss Post. You will receive an SMS with the delivery date. Please confirm the delivery date in your message. If the Post does not receive a confirmation from you, the delivery cannot be made.
If you provide a landline phone number, the appointment will be arranged by phone. This can lead to a delay in delivery. It is important that a valid phone number is given when placing your order.
The delivery will be made in front of the entrance to the building, on the ground floor. The supplier is not responsible for delivering the goods to your door or your floor. We also do not currently offer an assembly service for items such as fitness equipment, ping pong tables etc.
Furthermore, the bicycles must be assembled by the customer at their own responsibility. In order to benefit from an assembly service by our bicycle experts, we recommend that you choose delivery to one of our Decathlon stores.
